Ah. *grins* First episode I actually watched was "Mind the Baby", during a re-run. With Crais and Talyn, and it just sucked me in.

And part of it, I think, is that I like the villains/antagonists/minor characters more than I like the protagonists of most shows or movies I watch. Crais made a very good antagonist for the show (as did Scorpius, who's another one of my favorites), and his biggest appeal is that he's ruthless in his adherence to his own code of ethics, even when they don't mesh with social standards.
