While the City Burns

One of my later Doctor Who ones, written in my Fairytales and Nightmares AU.

1. Romana being bad-ass and chewing Rassilon out because he deserves it.

2. Romana/Koschei, particularly the fact that it's light and somewhat bittersweet and just there, rather than being the focus.

3. Um, just Romana. Damn, I forgot how much fun she is, even though I have a very small amount of canon to work from (having not even watched all the episodes she's in, because I haven't hunted very hard to get my hands on all of them).

Would That My Enemy Were As I

Avengers, Semitic Mythology, Celtic Mythology. Part of Lies, Misdirection, and Terrible Truth, the second-to-last story in the series.

1. The Morrigan showing up to a meeting between the Avengers and Anat and Loki even though she wasn't invited, because she's an integral part of the trio.

2. Tony being his usual self, and asking the questions no one else wants to - and actually wanting the answer.

3. Loki wanting to keep Clint around because he wants to keep a proper adversary/enemy around rather than because he likes him.

The Meager Tide of Human Destruction

A Highlander story, one of my Alysse stories, particularly Alysse with Kronos.

1) Kronos on a ship. It's not as fun as Methos on a ship, but I like it nonetheless.

2) Alysse glorying in the storm. I can still see her grinning into the wind.

3) Alysse and Kronos arguing over the relative beauty of different forms of destruction while trying to keep themselves and their ship in one piece.
