Dear HLHShortCutter
Oct. 1st, 2019 10:52 pmWhen I say hopeful does not have to be happy, see also Lord of the Rings, or Hobbit. Babylon 5 or DS9. Rogue One, as a serious level of hopeful is not happy. Just. The idea that no matter how hard or painful or even lethal the present is, the future will be better for more people than just those in power. Just. Hope.
And queer relationships that aren't necessarily romantic and/or sexual in nature would be really awesome. Queer characters who don't abide by binary gender roles/norms/presentation, in relationships that are romantic and/or sexual in nature. Non-monogamous relationships. Something that breaks the mainstream more than M/M or F/F.
If you're up for one of the crossovers:
Babylon 5, Katherine-as-Ivanova (as they're both played by Claudia Christian), would be estatic to see appearances by Marcus Cole or Talia Winters. (Or Neroon, but right now, I have quite a soft spot for the stubborn bastard.)
DS9, Julian or Garak getting a chance to interact with one or another Immortal would be awesome.
Voyager, it might be interesting to see an Immortal who isn't actually human, or an Immortal who left Earth before warp technology (or early after, and hitch-hiked across the galaxy). Or maybe an Immortal who came into existance on the planet where Voyager finds Amelia Earheart and some other humans kidnapped and brought across the galaxy
Farscape, again it would be interesting to see non-human Immortals, particularly among the Sebacians (the aliens who look human outwardly, and who made the Peacekeepers), as they're very near-human.
