Less out of spoons. It is, though, grey, cold, and wet, and fuck all of that. I'm going to turn the heat up and nest in blankets for the day.

I kinda wish I had blanket-forted today too; it's been miserably raw and slightly chilly even indoors here today (although I'm quite certain the thermostat would argue that the indoor temperature was completely normal). In fact, I think I'm giving the hell up and retreating to bed Right Now!

Thermostats only measure temperature where they're at, and that's rarely the same temperature where one is doing things. Often it's a bit to the more comfortable side at the thermostat, and to the less comfortable where one is doing things. Because thermostats are never put somewhere it's convenient to set up workspace.
