True. And it would be interesting to find out what her thoughts are about the whole situation. Would she be called in at the end with the rest of the Med'jai to fight the armies of Anubis? I'm thinking probably not the women but you never know.
There are a couple fics where Rick's past life became the private Med-jai of Evie's past life. I haven't read a complete one yet so I don't know they plan to get that one out but I thought it was an interesting idea, that Rick and Evie could have had a different (or perhaps not so different) relationship in that past life. And it would make sense with what Ardeth says about Rick being destined to protect her.
Drat. Now I'm going to have to rewatch the movies and figure out the facts about all that again.
Sadly, I haven't had internet connection at home since Monday night so I haven't been able to do anything online since early yesterday morning when I was at my grandma's. I'll have to read it.
