Motoring away on the one story again, and happily going along, and trying to figure out the motives of the one character. To which my current conclusion is that he's an idiot with political ambitions. *facepalm* I think I'm going to go back and re-edit a few words in the scene again, but even with a small change to it, he's still striking me as either a bit of an idiot, or rather a bit of a bastard in need of being smacked upside the head. However, considering his political ambitions and everything else, I perhaps shouldn't be entirely surprised by his actions. He's not going to come out of this as well as he hopes, though, which is a good thing. Right now, I think he's going to be in good shape to come out of this alive, and I do need him to come out of this whole mess alive.

And to think, I liked him when he first showed up. *sighs* Ah well. Back to the writing. And possibly more updates on the state of writing as I go today. It's going pretty well. Four hours, 2569 words, and the story overall stands at 8757. And I'm going to get to the next major plot point today, and possibly the next sex scene - which might end up fade-to-black this time. If I get further, I will be a very happy bouncy person.
