Someone remind me why I'm not supposed to do this again?

So I was poking around looking for X-men fanfic and such, and I found a Big Bang with a rather broader subject set than other ones I've found. And because I'm always intrigued by having another challenge for writing (it makes it easier, actually, to work on the writing, most of the time), I signed up.

And because I don't want to be part of a tiny number of people participating in their first attempt at it... Go, sign up, have fun with it!

I have no clue why I'm not supposed to be doing this. *grins and shrugs* I know I had a reason at one point why I didn't sign up for this sort of thing, but I've forgotten what it was.

Oh if it was a banner that kind of explains it - it's banners I normally have trouble with (I just get a tiny red dot). I have no idea why - it's definitely something this end and not the poster's.

A general Sci-fi/Fantasy Big Bang? Sounds like a good idea.

*crosses fingers* I just hope it gets off the ground, since this is its first year. I found it while not-so-idly browsing for X-Men fic coms, and decided that it looked like a good idea, since I'll have until the end of October to write and get a story beta'd. With the hope that I'll do better at getting word count than I did with TARDIS Big Bang.

I stalled really at about 10 thousand words(something like that) on my Big Bang, the story wasn't finished and I knew there was more to write but I just *couldn't* get any more down.

*nods* I got stuck at one scene about equally as far in (I have the actual word count somewhere, and don't want to look), and couldn't get further - and couldn't simply skip over the scene and go back to it because of the way I write.

I'm still participating, I'm just doing art instead of both, which annoys me a bit, but... *shrugs* Stuff happens.

Assigned? *grins unrepentantly* I volunteered, actually. Because it's been far too long since I last did any Farscape art, and I kinda miss the excuse to do it.
