List of Alternate Universes
Jun. 16th, 2009 01:16 pmOnes I've played with, in particular, and intend to do more with. I've got more ideas, but no stories for them. Yet.
Doctor Who/Torchwood
Lieutenant to Chaos
Rose is dead and the Doctor didn't regenerate on the Game Station. Jack ended up at the end of the universe when he tried to follow the Doctor, and he's with the Master on Earth, the two of them running Torchwood. Yvonne Hartman is the Master's deputy, Tosh and Ianto are in Glasgow. Suzie, Owen, and Gwen work for Jack in Cardiff.
Gray is rescued by the Doctor, and is with him when Jenny's created on Messaline. Jenny regenerates in the Library instead of the Doctor or River doing the thing with the computer. River Song travels with the Doctor. John Hart is still a wild card with several rehabs under his belt that did nothing.
Thursday Afternoon - Jack/Master & OCs, Victorian-era London, R for violence and Jack-death, complete
Ianto Jones - Ianto Jones, character piece over several years, PG13, complete
Still Love You - Jack/Master, early 21st century Cardiff, PG13, complete
Chocolates - Jenny & the Master, 51st century, G, prompt: breakfast, complete
Just Enjoy Yourself - Ianto/John, 21st century, R for sex, challenge: Rounds of Kink, complete
Fairytales & Nightmares
Koschei and Theta were only a century old when they got the drums out of Koschei's head. It left Theta broken, and Koschei feeling responsible. Various adventures, mixing classic and new, prior to the Time Wars. Three Time Wars, that culminate in the destruction of the Daleks and the imprisonment of Koschei by Gallifrey's nominal allies. He escapes to find Theta catatonic, and little concern among the Time Lords for this. Includes appearances by Donna, Lady Romana, and various others.
Rose never meets the Doctor, but she does work for UNIT, and has her A-levels. She goes off with a couple ex-Time Agents turned conmen calling themselves Jack Harkness and John Hart, and enjoys herself immensely in adventures through time and space.
Captive - Koschei, pocket universe outside of normal time, PG, complete
Found - Koschei, his TARDIS, PG, complete
Auto-Pilot - Koschei, Donna & an OC (Solisan), 21st century, PG13, complete

Watching Them Dancing - Rose/Jack/John, various time periods, R for sex, challenge: Ficathon of Dooooom, complete
"Not His Day" & "The Oncoming Slap" - Koschei, the Doctor, Lady Romana & Donna, Koschei's TARDIS, PG, drabbles, complete (second and third in the post)
Darker Guardians (a Mirror-verse)
The Doctor ran from the Time War, the Master stayed and fought. Jack isn't immortal, Torchwood One is still standing, Gray was rescued before he lost faith in Jack. Tosh works for UNIT, Donna is the Master's companion, and the Doctor doesn't want to be rescued. John's chasing the TARDIS because he can, Gwen doesn't have Rhys, and Lisa isn't Ianto's girlfriend.
This was my TARDIS Big Bang writing project. Both of them. Neither got to word count. I have posted part of the one with the Master and the Doctor, the one with Torchwood and UNIT will stay vague until the next TARDIS Big Bang. Or until I finish my Sci-Fi Big Bang story, and at least one of my older projects.
Buried Keys - the Doctor, no specific timeframe, PG, complete
The Man At the End of the Universe - Jacobi!Master, Nine & Donna, end of the universe, PG, complete

Horatio's brother Raymond is a dirty cop covered in glory, his mistress Suzie lives in one of the buildings Horatio owns, Yelena hasn't found out (or hasn't said anything). Kyle is never charged as an adult in the kidnapping he commits, and Horatio makes sure his mother can't get him. And Natalia is with the Russian mob (and possibly the FBI, but I haven't gotten to really poking at her story yet).
In Tarnished Armor - Horatio/Marisol, Eric & Calleigh, early 21st century Miami, PG13, in progress (first chapter only posted)
Stargate
Scarred Souls
Paul Davis is on a field team for the SGC, and on one mission he's captured by the goa'uld and forced to become host to one of them. When SG1 tracks him down, the goa'uld who is controlling him flees to a planet that he thinks, from Paul's knowledge, the tau'ri don't know about. There, the goa'uld is killed, and Paul wakes up without much memory of who he is or where he came from. He finds a new life, and when rescue arrives two years later, he has to make a choice about what his life is going to be now.
