morgynleriI'm re-watching Criminal Minds, because I want to sort through canon in my head again. Or at least, some of it. I skipped the first three seasons all together, though I'll probably go back and watch them again later. Not sure why, just did. Have been skipping some that I know are more likely to make for interesting and unpleasant dreams. Know I'm going to skip any with Foyet, because for all that's an important part of Hotch's character development... I can't watch it right now.
Also, tending to focus on Rossi. Because he's growing on me (having not liked him the first watch through). A lot. And I'm pretty sure I've a Rossi-muse, though what I'm going to do with him, I'm not sure yet. At least, not beyond what's going to happen with him in the What Worlds We Weave crossover AU of doom. Because exploring his dark side? Will work very nicely with that. Because there's so much fun stuff I can do with that thought when there's Stargate (Rossi + the Trust = the nascent Rossi muse telling me I'm nuts, but hey), and Highlander (although, Garcia's the one who's Immortal of the lot... and Morgan is her Watcher... and the not-often-present Hotch-muse is just looking frustrated at that), and Harry Potter (yes, yes, I know, I'm nuts trying to slot this all together without butchering anyone's canon beyond all recognition...) and... and... *pauses to take a breath*
Anyway. That crossover AU gloriously weird mess may be where I start poking at my Rossi-muse first, because it's easy with that. Or over at my sandbox on IJ, because, well, RP one-on-one might help me get the Rossi-muse to settle. I hope.
All of this because I can't help but want to remember what canon is referenced in fic I've been reading. Although if I could please have some Rossi-fic that doesn't automatically mean Hotch/Reid takes center stage, or is Rossi/Hotch or Rossi/Prentiss? I would be happy. (I've been poking through AO3 fic which includes Rossi. A lot of it is Hotch/Reid, which while I'd happily read if it were what I was looking for... it's not what I'm looking for. *sighs*)
