Mar. 29th, 2018 09:53 amSo, I'm working on fic based functionally on the latest round of bedtime stories I tell myself, and I am sitting here going "well, I've run multiple plot lines starting from the same point anyway, so what happens if I attempt to plot out where they split from each other and write them all?"
So far I have seven timelines and counting.
Granted, they're all being lumped in one AU, because, and then they each get to belong to several series as I tend to categorize things in my headers. And at some point, when it is finished, I will make (or make available) a flow chart for how it all works. Or decision tree? Something. Appropriately-named-chart that shows where the timeline splits are and what caused each split. And all of them, damnit, are going to have some kind of happy outcome, with none of the primary characters (Chakotay, Jenara, Janeway) or potential offspring (Hallia, maybe others) dead from anything except maybe old age.
