Fucking travel times and cinematic conceits and where the fuck was the fucking helicarrier when they got word of Loki in Stuttgart? They already had to be over the eastern part of the Atlantic, at least, or over Europe or Africa. Or Loki waited for several hours after being spotted for them to show up.
I mean, I wouldn't put it past Loki to wait for his desired audience. But cooling his heels all day just doesn't feel right.
*hits canon with a sledgehammer again* Fuck it. I have my numbers for what I want to do, and I'll adjust the movements of SHIELD and etc around Loki and Tony and Ivan.
(Am I well on my way to having another piece of One Night In Moscow done over the weekend? Probably.)
