Writing update

I had been stuck at the beginning of one scene a couple days ago on the story that's been eating most of my writing efforts lately. Until earlier today, and I'm not sure exactly why. Other than I finally figured out how to make the scene work, and the words once more are flowing. The character who was giving me trouble to get that scene started, in the meanwhile, is now getting worked back into the story almost as I'd been hoping. Save he's having a bit more of an active role, it seems like, which is a good thing.
Also, I'm getting one of the other characters who almost disappeared from the story back into it, and considering she's one of the more interesting minor characters, I'm glad of it. She's particularly important to get worked back into the story before the next major plot point, since she has a bit of an important role in the aftermath. Certainly more than either of the relatives that my female lead has left.
And one of the plot points that leads from that is going to undergo some major changes for this rework, and I think I'm going to be happier for it. Though what it's going to mean for a later scene, I dunno yet. *shrugs* Figure it out when I get that far.
Anyway, need to get back to the story before I have a muse using my sharp pokey stick on me. *scampers off*
