Post three for the day
Oct. 31st, 2010 07:47 pmAs I feel like sharing the writing process at the moment, even if I'm keeping some of the details to myself. I've gotten through the plot points I'd covered in the original draft, and am now starting in on new ground again. Right now, though, apparently involves an argument between Henry and the uncles who later help him essentially wrest power from his father. Instigated by the end of the last scene I finished, which is one of the Chorus' scenes.
I'm not even sure how much of that argument is going to make it into the body of the story itself, since it doesn't happen in front of the lead female, and I think she's the one starting off this set of scenes between Chorus scenes. However, since she's the point of contention, the outcome of the argument directly effects her, and while I'm pretty sure his uncles make their point, right now, it's waiting for the noise to stop, the muses to settle down, so writing can resume.
On the other hand, this has meant that one of the plot points is being moved up by three years. Should be entertaining.
