morgynleriWe caught two of them, and I’ve yet to see the third or mama today, but that’s to be expected. Kittens are now in a crate for a vet appointment today, and the trap is reset with fresh gooshy food outside and a towel this time for shelter.
If we catch #3, she goes to the vet as well for checking and shots and worming. If mama gets caught, we talk to the local human society about spay and ear clip so she can go back out. (Because it will cost less than at our vet.)
Jess did not appear to react poorly to the kittens while they’re contained (no poofy tail, ears forward, no hissing, and tail was also not down, though not the up and quirked at the tip that she greets me with), so we shall see if she accepts them as roommates/fellow colony members.
(Next chore after the vet: handling, harnesses, what a litterbox is and how to use it, and general socializing stuff. Whee!)
