So, I have a set of old, cracky as hell Harry Potter stories that I haven't even really thought about since I decided I didn't have the time, inspiration, or energy to devote to a new series last year... (or, apparently, the year before that, or the year before that, or the year before that. *is staring at the dates on the stories*)

The principle concept of them is magical snowballs. That dissipate on contact, leaving behind whatever silly effect the person throwing it desired. Sometimes not so silly, but never hugely dangerous, even if a bit mean-spirited. And the effects don't wear off until the snow melts, nor can they be reversed except by the person who threw the snowball.

Anyway. Someone emailed me, asking if I was planning more. I blinked, and cautiously wondered if I might not be able to get a new set done this winter. Except that I'm not hugely into Harry Potter, and I'm kinda out of ideas for what to inflict on the inhabitants of Hogwarts.

Then I wondered what would happen if I let them spread. What would happen if one slipped through the Rift and was found by Torchwood? Or if something caused them to show up in Atlantis? Or maybe if they ended up in the Highlander universe, or in the Buffy/Angel 'verse? Or any other universe I feel comfortable writing in, for that matter...

*sighs* Well, I think I might have something for this year, though I'm only likely to be writing them through December. January and February are likely to be a bit on the busy side.
